Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are the agreement between you and Blitz Odds (“Blitz Odds”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of blitz-odds.com and any app or feature we provide through it (the “Service”). Please read them — you are asked to accept them when you create an account, and they limit our liability to you.
1. Accepting these Terms
You accept these Terms by checking the acceptance box when you register, or by continuing to use the Service after being asked to accept an updated version. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account and do not use the Service.
We record the version of these Terms you accepted and the date and time you accepted it, against your account. That record exists so both of us know which version applies. See our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old, or older if that is the minimum age for sports wagering where you live. The Service displays betting odds and is intended for adults.
- You must be legally able to enter into this agreement, and not barred from using the Service under the laws that apply to you.
- You may hold one account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
- Information you give us when registering must be accurate, and you must keep it current.
3. What Blitz Odds is — and is not
Blitz Odds is an informational and entertainment tool. It aggregates publicly available NFL data, displays betting lines published by third parties, and produces model-generated predictions and recommendations for pick'em pools.
- We do not accept, place, broker, or process wagers, and we are not a sportsbook, a gambling operator, or a betting exchange.
- Predictions are not advice and are not guarantees. Our model can be and often is wrong. Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, or betting advice.
- Odds, lines, scores, injuries, weather, and schedules can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Always confirm a line with a licensed sportsbook before acting on it.
- Leagues and pools on the Service are for entertainment. We do not operate, hold, escrow, or distribute prize money or entry fees of any kind.
Bet only where it is legal and you meet the minimum age in your jurisdiction. If gambling is causing you harm, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537), or visit ncpgambling.org.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@blitz-odds.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You may close your account at any time by emailing us. Closing your account removes your profile, picks, standings entries, league memberships, and notification subscriptions as described in the Privacy Policy, and cannot be undone.
5. Leagues, picks, and the things you post
When you create or join a league, the display name, avatar, picks, and standings on your account are visible to the other members of that league. Do not put anything in a display name, league name, or other field that you would not want those members to see.
You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process it as needed to operate the Service — scoring picks, building standings, and showing them to the league you submitted them to.
A league commissioner sets that league's format, scoring, and settings, and can remove members. Disputes inside a league are between its members; we are not the referee, and we do not adjudicate standings disagreements or off-platform stakes.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download the Service, or use it to build or train a competing product or dataset, other than ordinary access by a search engine that respects our robots.txt.
- Access the Service through automated means, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or feature gates.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of any non-public part of the Service.
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or the infrastructure it runs on, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
- Register accounts in bulk, impersonate anyone, or use a display name that is abusive, hateful, obscene, or designed to mislead.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, or use the Service for anything unlawful.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit data, predictions, or output from the Service without our written permission.
7. Paid features
Parts of the Service are free and parts may require a paid subscription. If you subscribe, the price, billing period, and renewal terms will be shown to you before you pay, and payment will be handled by a third-party payment processor — we do not store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal. Except where a refund is required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change subscription pricing on notice, effective at your next renewal.
8. Email and notifications
Creating an account lets us send you service messages — account email, league invitations, and join requests. If you opt in, we can also send push notifications and week-in-review email. You can turn optional messages off in Settings or in your browser's site permissions at any time. Essential account messages are part of holding an account and cannot be switched off separately.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and model output, belongs to Blitz Odds and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer any of it to you; you get a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Blitz Odds is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League. Team names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
10. Third-party data and links
The Service depends on data from third parties, including SportsGameOdds (betting lines), ESPN (scores and box scores), and Open-Meteo (weather), and it links to third-party sites. We do not control those services, we are not responsible for their accuracy or availability, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
The Service is provided free of charge for most features and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, including features you rely on. We do not promise any level of uptime, and data feeds we depend on may fail outside our control.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any prediction, line, score, or other information on it is accurate or current. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blitz Odds will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost winnings, gambling losses, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — whether or not we were advised such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50.
You accept that any decision you make about a wager is yours alone, made at your own risk, and that we are not responsible for its outcome.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Blitz Odds harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, anything you submit through it, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your use of the Service creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 5 (the licence you grant us), 9, 12, 13, 14, and 17 survive termination.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the version and date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will ask you to accept the updated Terms the next time you sign in, and you will need to accept them to keep using your account. Continued use after a non-material change means you accept it.
17. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Blitz Odds about the Service.
